could this list be expanded with a section for vehicles you aren't actually working on, but that you have working meshes for, whether personal finds or requests. if so inclined you could boost participation by running say a monthly poll giving us like 5 or 10 choices of what we would like to see off this list the following month from this list.
I would also like to see a list of requests without a working mesh so maybe others might find 1 without having to wade through what is it now 40 some pages of requests?

the thing is, that once I find a do-able mesh, I start working on it and I add it to this list, I don't ignore it and look for more, I only start going through requests once I get to that point where I have no more to do

Maybe this is not the place for this, but why are you only making cars for TS3, F-P?

Why don't you make it both for TS3 and TS2, as you were doing earlier?

Don't get me wrong, I know TS3 is the game in more evidence, but I just HATE the way sims look in TS3, their *pancake* faces make me wish I never bought that game - actually, I uninstalled it from my computer - so I'll stick with TS2 as long as someone fixes those fugly TS3 simmies...

I like to make cars for TS3 more. I get much more satisfaction from making a TS3 car since it looks so much more realistic. Plus, I don't really feel like my position is needed anymore for TS2 cars. You have Vo here who does an absolute stellar job at making cars for TS2 and does it even at an incredible speed. I come here and see nearly a new car everyday that Vovillia makes for the game. That is false for TS3. For TS3 , much more people want cars, since there aren't many out there.

No prob F-P, thanks for the compliment, and I can understand why you prefer TS3 cars, I still like making cars for TS2, mostly because I like playing and messing around with the animations and my cars turn out much better looking than in TS3, but only time will tell about the TS3 SimPE development, because the TS2 SimPE went through the same thing, at the beginning, there wasn't possible or do-able, if I remember correctly, the basic layout of SimPE was remade like 3-4 times over the entire process of development since it's first beta release from long time ago(I think around the time Uni EP was released) to where it is now

Trouble is, TS3 was designed in a way so that the "average" player could tweak most things to his/her liking, without the need for downloading anything, unlike TS2...no need for custom content creators, that was the philosophy behind the whole project.

As a sim creator - that's what I do most, and you are all invited to come to my forum (link in my siggy) and take a look at them - I see no way to improve the looks of TS3 simmies, and that is a giant drawback for the game, mainly considering the possibilities when I do sims for TS2.

Can you find a sim like that for TS3? I don't think so...

Maybe for people who like to decorate homes mostly, TS3 is the way to go, I've seen a lot of great houses for TS3 around (maybe that's where F-P's TS3 cars fits).

But if your thing is to play, or make sims (my case) TS3 was a cold shower...

I do enjoy building houses in TS3, and I had all of FP's ts3 cars, but ever since that stupid patch for the game, I can no longer have ANY custom content in TS3, no custom cars, furniture, or even store content! So I've uninstalled it from my computer....but I guess I'm getting off topic, sorry about that lol
