    FOR KILLING MERCURY!!

I don't like modern American cars anymore...and I still don't like GM.

Thanks Ford, you lost a huge fan.

GO TRABI!

(Sorry about this being a little rant, I'm just upset since I really liked Mercury.)

it was bound to happen sooner or later. i mean there killing off the grand marquis next year and after that is gone what would mercury really have? as much as i love mercurys the company hasnt had an original model since they cancled the couger in 2003. i mean there killing off alot of history dont get me wrong but the 2011 mercury lineup of 2011 would have looked like this

Mercury Mariner
Mercury Milan
Mercury Mountaineer

pretty pathetic dont you think?

THAT'S TOO BAD!

"Better ideas make better cars" - was the motto on this 1971 ad...

Looks like Ford has run out of ideas, nowadays!

I was more sad when Pontiac was kileld, but Mercury isn't that big of a deal to me. They would have been left with three cars that were just semi fancy fords. If you want luxury just go for a Lincoln, lol.

It's a shame another company is gone, especailly one that's been around for a long time...I'm not really a Mercury fan but still it's a shame

Both Pontiac and Mercury could go, it will be Oldsmobile that I will miss.

Hmm, speaking of that I think I'm going to search the site for a '71ish Olds Cutlass.

Oldsmobile's issue was the same as Mercury's. GM and Ford both screwed them up. The late Oldsmobile cars were the ugliest looking things I've ever seen, and the late Mercury cars are nothing more than than ugly Ford knockoffs. But I'll still miss Pontiac.

Oh I miss Oldsmobiles, I really wanted to see where the Intrigue would go. I own a 2000 Intrigue myself.
