I bring you my special recolor pack as a Christmas gift! After hours of trying I was able to crack the bodymap of Vo's 1970 Chevelle and make some nice recolors. So behold, here they are!

1. Warplane Mk.I
Warplane Mk.I was inspired by WWII bombers and fighter planes, and by some ratrods that ere inspired by these planes, heh. It's a matte olive recolor.

2. Warplane Mk.II
Unlike the matte Mk.I, Mk.II harkens to the shiny silver P-51 Mustang WWII Fighter Plane, and is basically the same like Mk.I, but in very glossy silver edition.

3. and 4. Carmageddon Reincarnation promotional recolors
I'm so happy that the new sequel to the bloodiest racing game in history is in development I simply had to do this. Visit http://www.carmageddon.com/ for info about the new game, still in relatively early development.


5. The Warlock
This is one of my oldest paintworks, and is the third version I've done. The first version was done for GTA:SA about five years ago. It's not as good as the second one, but better than the first one.

6. General Lee
If you've ever wondered what would it have looked like if the makers of The Dukes of Hazzard decided to use a Chevelle instead of a Charger, then your question was now answered.

7-10. Flame Paintjobs
A classic indeed! Introducing flame paintjobs in the following colors:
a) Black with traditional flames

b) Red with black flames

c) Gray with black flames

d) White with ruby red flames

11. Jenny Wildcat's Chevelle
From my upcoming story, this pink flamey Chevelle belongs to one of the characters, Jenny wildcat. It is a bit different from the rest of the "flamers" as it has Jenny's signature on trunk. Well and what she does? You better wait for the story, but I think her name makes it obvious already.

12. Miss Dixie
This is an exact copy of my paintjob from GTA:SA. The original one was made abou three years ago, and it was cluttered with stupid decals. I made this clean decal-less version a year ago and never realesed it, so now I've fully recycled it and adjusted it for Vo's Chevelle's bodymap.


So yeah, here you go! There are two versions, one is for the standard version of Chevelle with alpha headlights (all files are labelled with an A) and the other one is for the no alpha headlights version.

These are Sick! Especially The Flame Ones!

That's great work, Deadheart! How do you "crack the bodymap"? Doing some changes and checking the recolor in the game? That's how I did it in the beginning, and it was very time-consuming. These days I use Wings3D, which is a free program. I import the mesh and texture and then I can make a mapping texture easiely and also check my recolors in full detail.

That's exactly what I meant by that. Say... this Wings3D sounds nice, that would save me a load of time... maybe I'll check it out.
