well i hoped over there to visit today to see whats up and it turns out shes for sale,

Yeah...it's been a great 3 years!. I have been unable for many reasons to complete the projects and update the site accordingly. I know there's great new creators out there that make great cars and could make great use of this site. So I've decided to sell it. I had a chat with Tre at Saturday. The site is wort 7000USD, but he reckons it will go for much lower than that. Well, 500-1000USD he said..

-The site is listed as #1 at Google.
-It generates from 150-200USD a month.
-+/- 1.000.000 visitors a month.
-Mailing system and everything is included.

Wait, I joined the car sites in January and have no idea of the S2CS. Is he selling the site to get his cars or...? Because I think I heard somewhere that there is two? I dont know. lol

Actually to be honest, It's getting rough to support, I don't have time to really work on cars anymore, and figured it was time to let it go...

Trond is pretty much right on the pricing...and if anyone cares everything on it, including cars, will go. I also have 2 other domain names, s2cs.net and sims3carsource.com which will more than likely go with it.

Perhaps at later times i can get back into creating, but hopefully someone would like to carry on S2CS since its still #1 on Google for Sims 2 Cars and such. It can make money for whoever takes it over...

Tre if I had the money I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but only being 16 7k is to hard for me to come by buddy, at least you came on and verified it i thought it was an April Fool's joke I had somehow missed lol.

I would do it, but my parents aren't going to let me spend that much money on a site, but they also don't support me on anything else that I do lol

Hmmm.. Really tempting, I'll think about the possibilities. Yeah, Blade.. Even 500USD currently too much for me, but you, Tre definitively deserve much more.. I just bought an Asus W90Vp notebook, prices here in Norway are pretty much blasphemous.

I have a designer cousin nagging me to focus more and more on school and that I've to work really hard to manage to become an architect or car designer. High School is just around the corner and I'll start there just after the summer vacation.

I'll take a look into how administrating and working with the site works.

I'm not a creator, yet.. Only creating recolors.
I'm going to begin meshing as I'll do a design and architecture course at high school. Currently I'm trying to learn Blender (3D software)..

I wouldnt mind buying it either, but that's still a lot of dough. What if there were a buyout from this site, and donations came in from the site members, with over 6000 members, that would only be around half putting in 2 pounds or something. Maybe a silly Idea, but an idea none the less.

Anyway, it's kind of sad to see Tre go, but it's understandable that life can become overwhelming at times. I wish the best to Tre and his future.

LoL thats awesome. I used www.websiteoutlook.com for the original one.....

I'll take $751 for it! lol I was looking into godaddys selling system. I guess websites arent exactly selling like hotcakes....

I'll probably end up lettin it go for like $250

It's a tough economy and even the other countries are being affected...
