I just started a grungy, post-apocalyptic neighborhood, and almost all of my cars are too shiny... :D In this thread I will post my grungy recolors and sometimes stand-alones. I do this for my private use primary, so don't push me, please.

All cars work with MogHughsons Decorative Parking Spaces!

Credits:
For every download here my thanks go to the mesh-creators, the ones who converted the cars for TheSims, the creators and maintainers of SimPe making all this possible, jfade for his Compressorizer (Get it now! It's well worth it!), and Numenor for his simple recoloring tutorial!

DOWNLOAD (mediafire)
Mesh currently unavailable, sorry! Ok, I'll just host the mesh myself till it's back on Sims2CarSource: download mesh Credits to FoxAlfa!

All files compressorized!

For the ones who can handle SimPe: You can simply adapt on of these templates to the mesh to make the rims rusty as well (exchange the texture that says "blue" at the end, the "magenta" doesn't seem to have any effect.) Of course, the rims will then be always rusty, also with clean recolors.

Right now I'm on the '58 Impalas. Any available sims car that's 70s or older is a potential project for me.

Is that the Daytona? I was thinking about this:
http://junkyardjewels.com/1969_dodge_da ... ild_1.html (check out the rest of that site, it's droolamazing!)
http://www.californiaclassix.com/archiv ... ytona.html

Maybe Vovi can do a remesh with the lights fixed like that and only one working.

White, red, black and brownish green for both hardtop and convertible, turquoise only for the convertible.
The hardtops have an additional option for a white roof each.
Here's a screen with all recolors pictured: view all
