The 300 convertible was planned for a 2008 release, but it was later canned due to shrinking profits. Many aftermarket companies though have made reliable 4 door conversions and can be found at big box Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealerships. The coupe also was planned, but the idea was replaced in '07 with the Challenger and the introduction of the LY platform, the platform the next 300 might be built off of.

Both of those images are doctored photos by the way.In fact, the bottom photo once was a press release photo that had Ralph Gillies leaning on the 4 door sedan.Flipped, cut Gilles mug out of the pic and axe the roof and poof! may the rumors spread.

You're right, but I bet they had plans to give birth to a reborn Camaro the day the final 35th anniversary model went off the production block.By the time the concept came out, they more than likely already had a full intent to release it.Now,no one had any idea how bad the economy was gonna get,and considering since they're has been no true 300 coupe concept by now,it's never gonna happen until maybe the next generation...or maybe even the one after that.Until then,i think they're quite content with having the Sebring have both coupe/convertible double duty with the tin drop top,and when I mean content, they don't really have a choice.

There was also plans on a Charger coupe, but it was going to be based off on this coupe model profit wise, but it's scrapped too of course

I don't really like the 300 either way, though the convertible looks decent. I'm not a bling bling car person, lol.

GM doesnt own Dodge, Chrysler does, well Fiat owns both, and Jeep. The Ones who actully made Chrysler was Mercedes-benz.
