I'm trying to get a different recolour sytem working, here, it involves another material override file that will allow a recolour artist to make a recolour of either the roof, or body, or even both into one file if they wanted, but I'm stilling pulling my hair out, I got everything working correctly, but the roof recolours still don't want to show up in-game.....

If the idea goes well, I'll realize a lot of recs of this car!

I fixed it, it's working correctly now, I just had some binary mixed up in the material override

Is it possible to replace the regular limo with this?

I know the sims 3 limo but there's a limo in sims 2? Lol I never knew that........

I first tried the limo mesh that is in TS2 as the clone, it looks very difficult, I never seen anything with like a dozen object data files, the file that has the GUID in it, the in-game limo uses like 12 different GUIDs and some other files I'm not familiar with, very confsuing

Oh ok then. I never even see the other anyway. My sims can rent this for special occasions lol.

This preview is delayed a bit, since I leaned the hard way that the game can't have more than 2 color options for an object, wasted almost 4 hours because of that, well at least I know now that a car can't have more than 2 coloring options and not to go through with that mistake again, but that made it difficult to do on this car, but it works, lots of color options for this car, just squeezed into 2 groups, and I hope I made easy enough for the artists here to figure it out

The first group, you can color the main part of the body and rims too
And the second group, the 2 different wood images that make up the frame and paneling along with the roof being recolourable



This will be posted tomorrow, and I will re-release the stock version shortly, but it won't have the same options as this one, I did the stock one a bit while back
