I would like every one to welcome my next guest. He joined on August 8th 2007 and is still active on this site. He is very popular on the site so he needs no further introduction, please welcome The Great Oz!!

Hello and welcome to my Hotseat, how are you?

I'm good thanks for asking

Where are you from and describe your neighbourhood to us.

Indiana, It basically looks about like any other sub division in the U.S., Houses and streets. lol except all the houses dont look the same in my hood.

You registered on this site in 2007, 4 years ago. What was the main reason you joined?

At the time S2OS was open and vovi opened this site and made the usual rounds lookin for members so I joined up.

why did you call yourself 'The Great Oz'?

Honestly I dont know. I picked this username way back in 06 when Simtech first opened and it just stuck.

What other sites do you regularly visit?

S2CS and some non sims related sites like The Chive.

Most of my interviewees say they prefer the Sims 2 over the Sims 3, what is your preference?

I havent even played sims3 but once and then I put it back in the box so I would say Sims2

Who are your 3 favourite car creators?

Well in no particular order, Sanctum, FP and Vovi

Do you still play the Sims 2, and if so how often?

No not really, I havent actually played in 3-4 years now. Usually when I do open sims2 its just to test something and then I close it back out.

Are you still in education or are you in employment, please also tell us what education/employment you are in.

I work full time as a Mechanic.

Do you drive? If so what do you drive?

I currently own a 96 Blazer that is my daily driver. My wife drives a 98 Honda Accord, We also have a few summer time cars, 65 Mustang thats in the shop getting some work done on it. I have a 77 Jeep CJ5 that I only drive on days I know its not going to rain cause it has no top or doors now and an 84 Cutlass Supreme which is undergoing extensive rust repair.

Coming off the Sims 2 for a second, can I ask, what is your views on the world's economy at the moment?

Well it kinda sucks. Except for over in the Oil countries, they are doing good.

Are you a religious person?

Not really, I do think there is a higher being I just dont know who or what it is.

Who is your role model?

I would have to say my dad. He is a mechanic as well and I work for him. He raised me to work on cars and teaches me to this day even though he is going to be 60 this year.

If you could design a computer game what would it be about?

Really I dont know, I never really thought of designing a game but I would have to say something open ended like the sims would be a good bet.

What one cheat would you like to use in real life that you can use in the Sims 2?

Motherlode. Without a doubt. They say money cant buy happiness but it would sure help.

Which car off the TV would you most like to own?

Oh thats easy, Bugatti Veyron.

Who would be your choice for the next Batman?

Christian Bale did a good job portraying him, so I would say someone with the same style of acting.

Finally The Great Oz, Do you hide behind a curtain and pull loads of levers? Sorry what I mean is do you go out a lot or do you prefer a night in?

I do have a curtain with some levers behind it . We usually try to go out to dinner and a movie on the weekends but with the little one we mainly just stay in and save just about money.

It's been great finding out a bit more about you and hope we speak again soon.

Thanks its been fun.
