Ladies and Gentlemen, Firstly it's great to be back at the Hotseat, HANNIBAL'S Hotseat lol. thecarcrazedsim done a great job when he took on the role, so thanks for your hard work thecarcrazedsim. Anyway my first guest on my return to the Hotseat has been on this site for over 3 years now and I'm sure needs no introduction, but I will anyway, he is

Caddy_Lincoln!!!!

Hi, Caddy_lincoln how are you?
Great, thanks! Hope everything is fine with you and all members of Vovillia Corp.

Did you enjoy your Christmas and new Year holidays?
Yes, I had a great time with my family.

Firstly I need to ask, your profile says you are a 53 year old from Brazil, is this true?
Absolutely true! I'm really 53, and I live in Campinas, Brazil.

Wow, that's simply awesome. You must be the oldest member on the site, how do you feel about that?
Quite frankly, I don't feel that old... I mean, I'm just a 53 year old kid The problem is that old man who insists on staring at me from the mirror every morning when I'm shaving
Really, I'm just a car fan like almost everybody here, I also love video games, so I think it's not what it says on your birth certificate that matters, but what goes on your mind instead. I feel quite comfortable about my age.

I quite agree.
You joined on September 30th 2008, that's over 3 years you've been a member on this site with 2474 posts. Can you remember how you first came across the site?

I came following a link at Vovillia's profile on MTS2, I knew his work from there.

You are linked to another Sims2 website called The Sims Cafe, is this your own site?
Yes, that's my home site. Actually, it was my wife (an adorable 47 year old young girl ) who started it, and then I joined. The first site were I actually began posting my creations was D L Mulsow's Sim~Antics (now inactive) and as a matter of fact I'm a sim's creator, not an object maker or a house builder.

What do you think of the Sims3? Do you own it and is there anything that's in the Sims2 you would like to have seen in the Sims 3?
I absolutely HATE it! Yes, I have it installed on my computer, and I think the worst part of that game are the pudding faced sims, they are simply AWFUL! So I guess what should be changed first are the sims themselves.

What car would you like to see made for the Sims2?
Most of the cars I wanted were either made already by Vovi or are scheduled for creation - at least the ones with decent meshes. The one I couldn't find a mesh and I'd love to have in the game is the '70s-'80s Rolls Royce Corniche.

Let's get to know a bit more about you.
What do you d (e.g Work 0r College)o for a living?

I am a Work Safety Engineer. The job involves inspecting industrial and/or commercial units in order to identify and fix situations in the workplace that could harm the workers' physical well being, aiming to minimize the possibility of hazardous accidents.
I graduated from College earning a Industrial Engineering degree in 1983, and specialized on Work Safety Engineering in 1988.

Do you drive? If so what car are you driving right now?
Yes, a VW Gol and a Chevrolet Corsa. The Gol is a local and smaller version of the Golf, and the Corsa is pretty much the same as the ones made by Opel, Vauxhall, etc.

If you could holiday anywhere in the world, money being no object, where would it be and why?
You may think that's silly, but I'd go to... Las Vegas, NV!
Not for the gambling or anything, but for the Las Vegas Driving Experience (details here - and I must emphasize I have no connection with the company involved, if I had I'd be there already ), were for gobs of money (since money is no object) you can spend a great deal of time driving exotics at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. And at the spare time - if any - I'd check the Auto Collections at the Imperial Palace Hotel and the Carroll Shelby Museum.

What do you do in your spare time besides Vovillia Corp?
I don't have much spare time, unfortunately, but I enjoy reading (about cars, of course), creating sims for my forum, I like architecture and aviation (reading again), and enjoying a good espresso with my wife at a bookstore in the mall close to my home.

If you were to choose a film to be remade with using the Sims2, which would you think would be more interesting?
Cannonball Run or maybe Gone in 60 Seconds Could be a mix of CHiPs , the Dukes of Hazard and Smokey and the Bandit, something like that

Finally, Have you heard of the UK's TV programme Top Gear? If so do you watch it/like it?
Yes, and I actually prefer the US version (the one at History, with Tanner Foust, Adam Ferrara and Rutledge Wood) than the British one with Jeremy Clarkson, maybe because I prefer American cars over European ones. As a matter of fact, I learned English because of my love for American cars, I was 12 and wanted to read all about those incredible V8 powered marvels, and in order to understand what was written in the magazines like Car and Driver and Road & Track I absolutely had to master the English language...

caddy_lincoln it's been a pleasure getting to know a little more about you, all the best in 2012 and keep up the good work.
It was great talking to you, and wish all the best not only in 2012 but also in the years to come to all members of Vovillia Corp.
A HUGE thanks!
