Now I have checked it in my game, and I don't think the lights are supposed to look like this? I guess it would be fixed if you moved the light effect a bit forward. :)

The same happens with Vo's Chevelle. It's because of the headlights' alpha. I tried fixing it myself by making the headlights non-alpha but it didn't work.

Tried that already when this issue first started to come noticeable, it didn't fully fix the issue, instead, only certain angles that it would still look like that and that the light animations is too far in front of the car that it appeared to be floating :?

I could just do what F-P did to fix this, was to remove the glass, but I think that just ruins the detail and realism of the car

I think this detail is not worth it if it makes the light look unrealistic at night. That contradicts your wish for realism. ;) I already thought about removing the glass and in my opinion with that BMW's pointy nose the difference wouldn't be visible from almost all angles. Make an alternative version at least, please? I can't remove it myself because I would mess up the movement of the remaining glass parts.

I see what you mean, but if the pinnacle of detail can be reach, not letting limitations of game get in the way, kinda like with other animations issues I run into with other things, (since it isn't my fault that I constantly run into the game's limitations), then I should just stick to it, it's got me very far too :)

In short, I try to get the best realistic details done, not determined by limitations of the animations or the game itself

I'll see what I can do without light glass on it, even though I'm entering F-P's turf  :)

I also noticed that this issue happens to all the car's I've converted that has light glass, it's only severe to the ones that has the glass the same shape as the light animation

Vo, pleeeeeeeease, would you do that with the Chevelle too? I tried it myself but failed miserably... and I need good working headlights for my next story since there will be a lot of night pics there

A version of the car without headlight glass is now posted, it also has a separate GUID, so you can use both
